Hello Holidays! :D


Haha, okay I'll update whenever there's anything interesting (or happy and random).
I'll be starting on homework soon hopefully, for hcl (which instructions have not been uploaded yet ):), guides modules and sbc portfolio, and start planning how I'd spend my holiday.
Hahah, so exciting right! I can't wait to start studying sec 3 work too - far from stressing myself out, I'd probably find it very fulfilling. :) (I seriously did badly this year!)

The chalet was quite good (and 'successful' -petra), at least Friday. If I feel like it :p, I'll update more about it next time.
Once again, thank you alll who came down to have fun with us!

According to Nyam (who wrote notes in my diary), she's going to Paris (in fact she left yesterday) and to Perth and to Africa. Such a fortunate girl. :P Hope she has fun!
I'd like to go to Africa someday, Kenya first!

Thank God for 2G
I gotta go off to pack for tomorrow's class chalet and all. Hope we'll have a fruitful time as a class, 'cos it's not everyday we get to do something like that. And it shall be somewhat a farewell for Zhixin, Venezia and Audie who are leaving us for better schools. :P
And I bet it'll be fun, haha.

Once again, thanks ZX for planning games and all. Yes, don't worry, I won't forget the pails and balloons and tongs and old newspapers. ;] Thanks to Ainiah, Amaris and Petra who came over today to prepare all the food for the BBQ. Thanks to JY, PK and all the others who chipped in in whatever way. And thanks to all who actually want to come for it! We cannot turn down Petra's offer! :P She put in a lot of hard work into this, I think. So not to forget,of course, I'm especially grateful to Petra, who came up with the idea, and putting in much effort on organising it! :D

Somehow, there's bitterness with the thought of leaving 2G, despite all the (somewhat-like-)conflicts, 'cos there's this attachment with it - the familiarity with 'G'. But yeah, like anyone would say, we can't always stay on in the present, instead look ahead. Haha, so no matter whether we end up in the same or different classes, we'll still remember the numerous scoldings and lectures we've gotten for all the unbondedness (something I presume we didn't feel at all, it was neither something other classes knew of) and all, which was kind of personal (I mean the lectures) -just between us and the teachers, I suppose! It's hard to forget.
The many times I felt I don't deserve to be in the class, the many times I thought acceptance was the only thing I really needed (which I never really got from everyone, but that's okay), the many times we were upset, the many times we got mad at each other, the many times the quieter group was left out, the many times some just didn't wish to be involved in school/class activities, the many times it got so tiring just trying to make sure everyone gains acceptance and recognition in class. 2 years, that's not that long nor short, but there's this relationship built up which wouldn't be easily broken 'cos I'm sure we're all silently very concerned for one another, right? :)

I've learnt alot through the course of the past 2 years, but it's very hard to put it in words. Needless to say, maturity comes with age and experience - so I'm proud to say I've matured (I'm very sure I did),and I really have all the teachers to thank. They're all very nurturing (yes, since P1) and as students, I'm sure we've all become 'immune' to lectures and all, but they really teach us many many things. So maybe being in 2G was good - all the scoldings, how the teachers got very upset with the class - as eek as this is gonna sound (like HSM), we've been through all those together as a class, and no matter what happens in the future, remember we're all in this together!

As much as both Sherri and I would have liked to be in the same class for the past 2 years, it turned out that she's doing very well in 2T and I'm really happy for her. At the beginning of last year, I was obviously sad we weren't both in either 1T or G, and not to forget how I cried when I realised Christine was put in the wrong class, but now that both of them are doing soooo well in 1/2T, I'm really really happy for them lah. As for me, I don't know where I'd have benefitted more, 2G or the-wonderful-class-of-Mrs Ng's. Hahaha, still, there's really nothing much I can do after being in G for 2 years, it was God-given. God gave me the chance to interact with a class that is really, let's say, very diverse, and silently competitive, 'cos it really just gave me the motivation to work harder. Also because God gave me the chance to be in 1/2G, I've been able to push myself harder (yes, not hard enough yet), but I really regret something - not having worked harder in primary school, resulting in a very bad PSLE aggregate. I wonder what would have happened if I chose to go to RG or Nanyang instead (if I qualified), but still, at the end of 10 years (2000-2010), I'd be proud to say I've been in MG for that long, ha. :)

I'm gonna miss sitting together with Nyam, JY, Adberz and Rida! I'm hoping I'll still be in the same class as Shar - very good friend! :D I'll be really really happy if I end up in the same class as Sherri though!

Of course, I'll leave everything to God, 'cos everything He does has a purpose - just like how the purpose of me being in 2G has been sorta fulfilled.

-Hyperventilates- It's amazing how BOP-IT ended up with the external coaches (yes, of etiquette). I think that was the most memorable (and traumatic) moment there. Food was good! But, uh, too much - thanks Rachel for finishing my chicken.

And ZX's as auntie and animated as usual - very very entertaining. (exactly why I'll miss her when she leaves for _____ next year - bright future)
Anyway, thank God I was never smart enough to get into RG. Their math paper is crazy - everything looked foreign to me. Hahaha, and the highest was 55/55?! I'm really lousy. If Charlotte's average in rg, all the rest of us are wayyyyy below average. Hahah. :)

I hope I get into secretariat for next year. Didn't exactly have the chance to do much in it this year but whichever comm I'll end up in, it's still an honour I should treasure.

(Congrats to salad, joey, daphne etc for getting nominated for the committee next year! :D) Okay nevermind. :P I thank God for giving me all the opportunities for competitions and all 'cos I got my A for cca already. 2 points man, 2 points - precious leh.

I ought to go shower now, the gym's the best place to be.

Inter-class soccer was quite fun! Roar, xiang, your class is aggressive. We didn't get into the semis for asian cup but the world cup team did, so good for them. Hahaha I think the teachers didn't realise a few of us were playing in both, in between games. :P
