#1 I'm not starting the year off very well, especially for math.
#2 I feel so bad, I forgot about morning co-op until 7.10 today. :(
#3 Very satisfied with my geog. marks, praise the Lord.
#4 Blackmore has really few supporters for T&F.
#5 Novelty race is going to be very fun!
#6 There's inter-house bowling tomorrow! But I don't know how to bowl. (Hohoho)
#7 We have an SS test tomorrow. Thank God it's sbq!
I pray for wisdom, I pray that I will use it in the right situations.
I don't know if I'm coping well in and out of school, but I know God will bring me through.
I haven't been encountering God for a while now, I really have to set time aside for Him, and just praise Him for His abounding goodness.
I know the desire to seek you even deeper, you are what keeps me afloat, and alive. I wouldn't know what to do without my God, because He leads and paves the way for me.
Bio. always reminds me of God because thinking about how cells came about, how each part of the cell has a function, purpose, just as each one of us, His people, who've been called according to His purpose, it's just amazing.
"And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
Romans 8:28
One will never go wrong in life with God. I believe the bible has everything we need to know as an earthly being. And not to forget prayer.
"Ask and it will be given unto you." Matthew 7:7aI have tons of questions for God when I meet Him in heaven. I may have forgotten many by the time I do, but I'm sure God will remember them, and record them down, because He looks into our hearts and He knows us best. I wonder if He'll answer all our questions once we come face to face.
Our God is an awesome God.

With Christ in the vessel

Sec. One Orientation Camp! Riding the waves together.
It was in God's plan that the camp was a success. It was also His plan that the SLs and PBs got to know each other much better, and bond, really really bond. If not for the SLs who planned out every detail of the camp programme, all the campers and us wouldn't have enjoyed ourselves.
Sleeping very early (late) and waking up early as a group, in the hall, which air-con was exxxxtremely cold, was an experience.
Like many have emphasised, it's really about leaving a legacy behind, and impact on the sec ones. Our PBs/SLs (when we were sec one) did. I remember wanting to have the same experience they went through - seeing how bonded and close they were, how enthusiastic they were despite being very tired - and today we have experienced it. It's all in God's timing.
I really want to thank the camp comm (Benn, Becky, Anna, Claudia, Wan Ning etc), and all the effort and work they've put in 'cos the camp was good! (Even though campfire wasn't so MG :( )
Worship was great.
With Christ in the vessel,
we can smile at the storm, smile at the storm, smile at the storm,
with Christ in the vessel
we can smile at the storm
as we go sailing home.
Sailing, sailing home x2
With Christ in the vessel we can smile at the storm
as we go sailing home!
All in all, it was good. I love how much we bonded, the fun we had together, and getting to know the juniors, and getting to know some (Hint, hint!) better.
Here's a big thank you to RACHEL CHAN and CHLOE LIM for being my bodyguards!
And Gillian Chan for being so enthu
And HIROMI OCHI for being my favourite arch enemy(M)OCHI! :)
And MAEGHAN Lee for being the happy person, with a unique name. (I will name my daughter Maeghan and my son Jayden - yay!)
And Amadea who can amazingly write a script in 10 minutes.
You know, Elan has a fanclub in her OG!
God has given me the most amazing friends ever - always supporting me in whatever I do, when I'm down, when I'm irritated, when I'm happy, when I'm high - I just have to really thank God for that. Shar, Laura, Faye, Angie, Nyam, AnnaBelle, Gail etc. - thank you guys so much for making camp so enjoyable! :D
Best friend (Gerou) who's always there for me - always being so adorable and cute, with her normal high-pitched nasal voice, giving a smile whenever possible that just brightens up my day. Sherri, whom I'm always reminded of of batteries (Red&Black gummies!), who leaves long encouraging messages on MSN, updates on life and just anything she identifies with.
Friends are what makes life more enjoyable, accompanied with sleep (yeah! exactly what I'm going to do) and God's Way.
Mum fetched me home today, and got me lunch at macs drive-thru 'cos my bag was big/heavy! I missed her a lot :(
The carpets in the bedrooms are being removed, and parquet is replacing it. It's both good and bad I guess - no more comfortable ground, but it'll definitely be cleaner because there's lots of bacteria in it, after 17 years :P
I got a shock when I got home because I had no idea the workers were coming today, and it was sad, I didn't get to say bye-bye to my room's carpet :( It was nice having it around all my life! Also because of this, Nai Nai's back is hurting so much again, 'cos they had to move the cupboards, beds, my VERY HEAVY shelves, study table etc and I feel so bad to have not been around to help. Anyway, the house stinks of thinner/wood varnish and it has taken its toll on my nose and eyes. Since there's only one room available in the house now, Dad and Aunt Kaylee had to go over to Bedok to stay overnight. I was just whining awhile ago because I just got back today, and they aren't here to accompany me.
Childish indeed, but I got quite homesick okay, though I'm quite used to camps already.
Okay, I should start on some work and sleep. Yay.

Hello!
I miss 1G/2G 0607, and I loved it, as much as there were many problems the teachers 'identified'. I know I'll love 3G/4G 0809 as well, I know it.
It's just going to take time adjusting to the fact I'll be rid of many duties in the class, being secondary 3, being aware of my l1r5 every term, having many new teachers that have never taught me before (well, at least most) etc.
I think I really find a certain identity in the 'G'. It's just me. ;)
Okay, now I have to
1. pack my utensils and jacket
2. call Dad to make sure he got a torchlight :)
3. prepare suggestions for the class theme verse by tomorrow (share with class before assembly?)
4. write encouragement notes
That's all for tonight, and I'm going to SLEEP.
Have anyone of you ever thought about how lovely sleep is? I love to sleep,
but so sad, I couldn't sleep last night.
Not until I conversed with Laura during lunch, I thought I was the only one who couldn't sleep. I was probably too excited, we all were.
Good night!
(Okay, actually, I'm already quite sleepy, hehe.)
@ 7:43 PM
I don't agree on a class theme verse about adultery, Amaris/Rachel! ;)
New year, new class, new start.
New friends, new class leaders, new teachers.
I'm very happy with my class, classmates, teachers and timetable (ha,ha). But I'm still upset I'm missing class this week. Hehe. Missed out on 'orientation' today - congratulations to Amaris, Anisha, Amanda, Lina, Ze Eie, Rachel, Rida etc. on getting into the class committee - regardless of whichever position, I know that God will do His work through them, that all of them will shine as class chairWOmen, treasurer, PE monitresses and subject reps. :)
Not exactly in the mood to blog, but for record's sake about the first day of school, I'll post.
But I'm generally not in a very good mood, la. :(
Really tired after Sec One Orientation. And it's only been a day. But I trust that God will bring all the PBs, SLs and teachers through the 2-day camp.
I really really really hope that TUNA (OG3) will be more enthusiastic, and open up more tomorrow, as we have camp. :( Because it's really very sad, I'm sure many have ideas, but they're too shy to voice it out. I know they will be, there's nothing such as 'we cannot', but there's 'we can'.
Hopefully our campfire item'll be a success, but most importantly, that the whole sec one cohort WILL have a lot of FUN, which comes after enthusiasm, really.
But I think Diane has come up with a good idea, and we've expanded the storyline well as well. Now, we can only leave it to the group, because we've already done whatever we can.
I feel like drinking some soft drinks, like Anything or Whatever! Hahaha.
Chloe, Rachel (Michelle, look at your sis :P Hope you got your motivational card back!), Chantal, Maeghan and Abigail(Yeo - from St Margs? Sorry, I've forgotten :/) bully me :( But it's quite fun, as long as they enjoy themself and cheer themselves up while doing that, 'cos I think that's the best thing I can do for them. If you didn't know, they consist of very bright MG pri girls from 6.6 last year (who've basically been bullying me all these years) and newly-made friends, who've decided to be happy too (right, Maeghan?). Hahaha, yes.
BALI-ACHOO
Soooo, look, don't you think my new (nick)name's very nice?
Hopefully I'll be able to remember everyone's names by tomorrow. 29 should be easy, should.
:D
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. ♥
PS I'm quite lazy to change the size of the font! There's some error in the codes, but it's okay. :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Have a Blessed, joyous, awesome 2008!
2007's been a greaaaat year, but I'll keep reflection personal this time, especially now that I still have work left to complete. Hehe.
Thanks to everyone who has done something in my life - those who have taught me important life skills, those who have given me a chance to shine, those who talked to me when I'm down, those who gave comfort and advice whenever I needed it (especially Shar and Andrea, love you two), those who studied with me when I needed company, those who have been really kind and accommodating, those who've put in effort to help me with my homework (yes, Pearlyn!), those who've made the year so fun (sec 2 pb, guidey gang,
2G etc.), friends, good friends, best friends (thank you sherri, thank you gerou!), and just everyone else who've done something for me.
I thank God for all of you, and I hope you'll have another great year ahead, filled with God's blessing.
:)
Continue to do good work and serve the Lord, grow strong in Him.
'And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who loves him, and who have been called according to His purpose' so 'Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.'2008 Resolutions! (sounds awfully familiar?)
1/ to walk close and have a personal relationship with God
2/ to keep praying for God's healing on Ian and my aunt
3/ grow taller!
4/ eat more fruits and salads! (haha ;))
5/ that track & field, health awareness week will be a success (go Honda!)
6/ to work really hard, so that I'll achieve my goal of 10A1s for O's
7/ to make more new friends, and be a good/better one :)
8/ to be able to serve in church with Dad
9/ to make sure Mich Hwang's
guai, and hardworking (hehe)
10/ to always remember who I'm serving, working for, studying with, living with and for.
11/ to be a good prefect
12/ to not procrastinate so much (I wonder how important this one is, and how many times it has appeared in my reflections)
13/ to not be pulled back by what may have happened, but to go beyond what I've imagined myself to be, because with God all things are possible.
14/ to never say "I don't have a choice" or "I cannot" because I do and can.
I may come up with more soon but these are what are at the top of my head.
I'm not thinking very well now.
School tomorrow, looking very much forward to Sec One Orientation.
Yeah, excited about school! I can't wait to start studying again.
Shar shall always be my best pal, because YAY, 3G moved down to the 1st floor, beside 3T! Slightly upset I'm missing class the first week of school, but thank God for my wonderful friends (namely Mich Hwang, Lina, Aly, Jalla) who've agreed to help me take notes. So thank God for my kiasu-ness as well. Haha. :D
I shall go back to gong han writing.
God bless!
PS I really love Bio.
