I'm currently very motivated to study hard and go into hibernation (books) really. Hehe. 8-|
(That's the nerd MSN emoticon! The cool one.)
Wouldn't say these few weeks have been good. Ha, I don't know how many tests I've failed, or how much I've disappointed people (right, haven't even told Dad how I did for some yet...).
As in God's timing always, songs been playing just when I needed them, texts have been coming in just when I needed some appreciation or encouragement.... And flipping the bible open brings me to just the passages I need.
Serving God thru' music has been enlightening, amazing and more than anything I could ask for. In all the struggles and battles, You see God work and move the hearts of those who earnestly seek him. And that really takes your mind off everything that may be a burden to you there and then. In that same light, being able to feel more and be led in Spirit more makes one more emotional... Brokenness.
End of years are coming, so I'll just leave this blog stagnant for abit!
God be with all of you thru' this period of time.
I know we need him, we do.

Best of 3T'08 (and best part of the day): Beatrice, Sherri & Roxanne (they met at PS & secret recipe too, coincidentally) embarking on their mission to finish the 9 (and a half from JY) cakes. Cake party huh! (Secret recipe) - 9 whopping cakes to 3 girls!

The waiters stared at us so much, we broke out in ALOT of laughter. Wonderful time of fellowship for them huh. We should do a SBC batch of '09 scrapbook and record down such...things (we've got a wide variety don't we, quirky!). Good break from all the business, ya?

Time to catch up on whatever I need to.
And that's alot. My room is extremely untidy,

notes are still thrown everywhere. And I'm pretty sure
I've misplaced things here and there.
Been long since I've been really stressed,
(save before & after N'day concert)
been long since I've found the reason to be.
I know that all things are possible with God (matt 19:26),
and He has said "do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow
shall worry about itself. each day has enough troubles of its own"
(matt 6:33), so just keep trusting alright?
It really helps alot. And you can never forget
the most wonderful, amazing thing God has done for us.
The greatest gift is salvation, and that's something for us to hold onto.

Baptizing A Drunk
A man is stumbling through the woods totally drunk when he comes upon a preacher baptizing people in the river.
The drunk walks into the water and subsequently bumps into the preacher. The preacher turns around and is almost overcome by the smell of booze.
Where upon he asks the drunk, 'Are you ready to find Jesus?'
'Yes I am' replies the drunk, so the preacher grabs him and dunks him in the river.
He pulls him up and asks the drunk, 'Brother have you found Jesus?'
The drunk replies, 'No, I haven't.'
The preacher, shocked at the answer, dunks him into the water again, but for a bit longer this time.
He pulls him out of the water and asks again, 'Have you found Jesus, my brother?'
The drunk again answers, 'No, I have not found Jesus..'
By this time the preacher is at his wits end so he dunks the drunk in the water again, but this time he holds him down for about 30seconds.
When the drunk begins kicking his arms and legs, the preacher pulls him up.

Attended Hokkien service instead of Bilingual today, so yup, didn't exactly get my spiritual food in church today. Can't understand every hokkien word.

Living a life pleasing to God isn't easy, but it isn't difficult either.
Worship isn't just singing songs of praise, it's that plus prayer and most importantly reading and understanding/absorbing His Word. I'm worshipping, worshipping and worshipping. There's my mission. Many times we serve God for self-glorification (shadow mission all over again), and it's a struggle. But God, I know you're fighting my battles, and I know you'll help overcome all of them. I'm crying out. Show me where you want me to go, and I will go.

There were these 4 guys, a Russian, a German, an American and a French,
who found this small genie bottle. When they rubbed the bottle, a genie appeared.
Thankful that the 4 guys had released him out of the bottle, He said, "Next to you all are 4 swimming pools,

When you run towards the pool and jump, you shout what you want the pool of water to become.
Then your wish will come true."
The French wanted to start. He ran towards the pool, jumped and shouted"WINE".
The pool immediately changed into a pool of wine. The Frenchman was so happy swimming and drinking from the pool.
Next is the Russian's turn, he did the same and shouted, "VODKA" and he immersed himself into a pool of vodka.

Brain......... I should be in charge because I run all body functions.
Blood........ I should be in charge because I circulate oxygen for the brain.

Legs......... I should be in charge because I take the brain where it wants to go.
Eyes......... I should be in charge because I let the brain see where it's going.
Asshole.....I should be in charge because I get rid of your waste.
All the other parts laughed so hard and this made the asshole very mad.
To prove his point, the asshole immediately slammed tightly closed and, stayed that way for 6 days.
Refusing to rid the body of any waste whatsoever.
Day 1 - Brain got a terrible headache and cried out for relief
Day 2 - Stomach got bloated and began to ache terribly
Day 3 - Legs got cramps and became unstable
Day 4 - Eyes became watery and vision became blurred
Day 5 - Blood became toxic and poisoned the body
Day 6 -The other organs agreed to let the asshole be in charge.
