now I surrender; in thanksgiving
Friday, March 28, 2008 @ 8:24 PM
The intensity can be felt.
While it can get quite pressurising, it's pretty exciting too.
This journey to stronger faith (the Holy Spirit can be felt more strongly), this journey towards achieving something that may just change me (sec three pb, you know what I mean :)).
Thank you Benn for your concern about school,
and thanks Becky and Deborah who've been committed in prefects' election too!
Without the support/help, things wouldn't be this easy.
It's always heartening to have friends around you, aye. Well, when they do show some form of support.
I haven't been coping well at all, especially with homework.
Got into many small arguments with my dad due to staying up late, and not completing homework, and that really only adds onto the stress.
I'm very disappointed in myself, and I'm sure many are too.
The bible lies on my shelf. Just a look at it and you know God will never let you go nor give you up. He will always be there for us, ever ready to listen to us.
Thank you to those who've comforted me and given me support through the ordeal,
my family and I are especially grateful to Clare, Maddy and Sherri who made a point to come down to the wake. Not to forget Ms (Angela) Ng and Mr Seow who are really very concerned and caring.
Crying was inevitable, but God really picked me up.
Through the challenges that may come, be it to be more disciplined, to finish all my work, to study hard, to achieve, I surrender to You Lord.
I must seek refuge, and find strength.
You're the God of all the earth,I humbly bow at your feetfor I am nothing without you,Lord I acknowledge my needof your great mercy, your forgiveness, your unfailing love.I fall before you, lost in wonder,Lord in reverence I will singThings will get better.
God's merciful and compassionate.
Romans 9:15-16 says For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."It does not, therefore, depend on man's desires or effort, but on God's mercy.
Serve Him solely.
Alright, I shouldn't be on the computer!!
Have a good weekend!
God bless :)
