Blogging's a way of destressing for me. Really.
Simple words, big thoughts.

Church 3 days in a row. You see yourself thirsting for God more and more.

Friday was a pretty good day, save the scolding from Mrs Tay.
She did it out of good will though, I'm sure. In any case, it was fun. (:
Got home early after N'day comm meeting, showered and went straight to church with Dad.
Jammed with Aunt Evelyn & Aunty Kim Hwee until pre-service.
I'd say I really enjoyed myself on the keyboards. Sad to say, I'm sure everyone struggles with following our mission by trying to achieve our 'shadow mission' instead. You know you're glorifying and serving God on one hand, yet on the other, you will see good in yourself too - like 'woah, I can actually do this'. But God fights our battles, so this shall be overcome soon. You wait for my good news!

Saturday. Sleep, math (graphic calculators are cool :)), sleep.
Church of Our Saviour's youth service's the best yet. At least what I've experienced myself.
I felt God, I felt the Spirit. It was seriously amazing, my hands being lifted up. Strong force I couldn't push against. That's God yes, He's uplifting you today.
Thanks Amadea! (: I'll be there 20th September Sis.

Today. Church!
Woke up pretty late, I think. Dad came into the room, screamed
"GI! IT'S 8.40 ALREADY. GET UP! STOP SLEEPING!"
Love it when he does, only makes you laugh (and irritated at times).
CD room with Aunt Eve & Eunice as usual, our weekly heart-to-heart talks.
Bilingual with Eunice. Mission month ya, same speaker as Friday. Just that I understood what he said much better this time, wasn't an intepretation by Elder Phua in Hokkien.
And yet, I had to try hard to stay awake. Aye, I've got some soul-searching to do.
Lunch with Lujia! Thanks for the MOS treat, dear! :)
Got booed out of rehearsal, Dad came down from his class (4th floor, I was on the 3rd) 'cos he felt 'led by God' (yes, that's what he said!) to come down to check on the PA system. And yes he saw me at the keyboards, came with arms by his hips, Aunt Eve now giving me that look while I'm in despair, looking in only her direction, avoiding eye contact with Dad. (Here comes Dad, just. "Oi, go and sleep. You only sleep less than 6 hours you know. Go." Slams the door and out of the room he's gone. I'm immune to it, I'm not sure if that's a good thing though. Probably not.)
I'm learning new Hokkien songs every week, they're really nice you know! Take some time to learn them. Say, the worship ones like '亲近主'.
("Draw near to God and he will draw near to you." James 4:8a)

Haaa, and then after getting chased out, the angel in me told me to take the bus, but the devil in me tempted me to take a cab. Now, you do the calculations - how much money can I save if I listened to the angel? 45 cents x 2 VS $13.
Yep, and so I did. Missed a 48 though. Look what satan does.
So I took a 966. AND AGAIN he distracted me with notices that Installation rehearsal has been changed back to tomorrow, making me think I missed the right bus stop. I didn't know 966 goes past Kallang Basin Complex (or something like that). Man, was I scared.

Listen to the angels. Listen to God speak.
