so give peace a chance

RYC was AWESOMELY FUN thanks to the comm!
(Merg, Becks, Laura, Choe, Abs etc.)
Thank God for it (today especially).
Took away all that stress I had. You can never be thankful enough towards God yes?
Even if it was just for 14 hours, it was a great opportunity for me to take a break
from that hectic schedule of mine (beckoning...). Must have been the same for many I presume. RYC being compulsory for us is God-planned, no? Met Wei Qin again! 3rd time this year. :)
And I found a friend (from church I formerly attended) I haven't seen in a long time!
I'm so happy now, I can't sit still. HAHA (Janell likes her 'haha' in caps).
The speeches were pretty interesting yesterday.
This year's programme booklet is really cool.
Couldn't join in the laughter when Mr Kunalan gave his speech, I was behind the curtains.
And yes, trying hard to stay awake and not miss the cue - "Thank you all very much once again". I almost did ;)
CC POWER!
AMAZING RACE! (today)
The first station, some groups threw 3 beanbags and some threw 12. :/
Nyeh. But it was fun when we were setting up & trying it out ourselves (Benn, GR, Grace)!
Ge Rou, Grace and I are great partners-in-slacking. We decided to take our own sweet time & join our groups at the 2nd (outside school) station instead of the first. Felt bad to have troubled Choe, but very very thankful. (Thanks Rachel! :))
I think the comm did a great job so they really deserve
claps and hugs. Alot of them.
Got to interact with Indians & Mainland Chinese quite a lot today. Definitely an experience I'll have to thank God for. Today's race tested my patience and ability to stay enthusiastic/awake alot like any other camp etc would. Even though we didn't complete all the stations, JANELL TAN WAS THE BEST LEADER. We stopped to take random retarded photos, but it was really fun. :)
Down with quite a bad flu - it's feeling cold almost everywhere, muscles aching all over, and sneezing more in dusty places - lots of it around aye. Hoping to get well soon enough!
HAHA, and I shall also attempt to get rid of the terrible eyebags. They seem to attract more and more attention. Ivfen described them as 'the worst I've (she has) seen in my (her) life', HAHA.
You get the idea.
Without God, the conference wouldn't have been such a success. Was amazing, tho the things we did at the stations could have brought across the theme more strongly! Feet were tried (you don't know how much we had to walk :P), the weather was fine, the people had fun and new cool friends were made!
I feel like having kueh chap. Don't watch channel 8 now, don't.
Okay, photos another time. :)
In God we trust
In Him we find the truth
