I'm just gonna make this quick because there's so much work to do! :) the hols weren't exactly...fruitful. in fact, NOT AT ALL. I didn't catch up on work like everyone else did. but thank God nonetheless because I don't think a break of fun and play (and little study) is a waste of time. it was a break yes! (agree with me yes yes)

"Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain."(psalm 127:1) very much like what proverbs 16:9 says: "in his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps". our efforts to build and be a part of something great are ultimately in vain if the Lord doesn't bless them. they may flourish for a time under our intense efforts, but if the plans and the construction of great things are not from the Lord, they will not stand the test of time...so Lord we pray you'll take the lead in every aspect of our lives. please defeat us in our efforts that aren't in harmony with your will, but empower us in our efforts that will bring you glory, and bring others closer to your love and grace. Amen.
