I suppose that's the first step to letting go. because she loves me, she's letting me go, but with the knowledge that I'll return to her one day. it only hurts right now, but scars heal, right? but there really are many other things that are bugging me. I'm never going to be allowed to be a 16-year old, and do what teenagers do. and that's painful. because whatever path I take, I wind up making someone or another upset because I'm growing up. that sucks.
